As part of our 20th Birthday, discover CIRCA - a large-scale, interactive light installation designed to bring people together through colour, and sound.

Located in the Cone (the green space outside Platypus). 

What is CIRCA?

CIRCA is a light and sound installation that brings together colour, rhythm and structure to create a constantly shifting visual display.

A circular arrangement of illuminated columns forms the installation - glowing and changing in a way that reflects harmony, movement and connection.

It’s a simple idea brought to life at scale: light, arranged in a circle, celebrating a shared moment.

An immersive visual experience
As the light moves through the installation, you’ll see:

• Colour flowing across the space
• Subtle shifts in brightness and rhythm
• A circular pattern that feels balanced and complete

The result is a calming, atmospheric display that invites you to slow down and take a moment within the centre.

From day to night
By day, CIRCA adds a soft, sculptural presence to the space.
By night, it transforms, becoming a luminous centrepiece, glowing like a circle of candles marking the occasion.
